Apprentice record-breaking ratings suggest a good year for BBC

Upon hearing the news that The Apprentice scored the highest ever BBC1 opening show ratings – a hefty 8.1m viewers, or 13.5% of the entire UK – I thought that now seems like as good a time as any to round-up what we can expect from the Beeb’s four main channels, BBC1, 2, 3 and 4, in the coming months.
